• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A question for Drop Tail Trailer owners.

Another thing to think about is we purchased a couple of loading ramps so we don't have to worry about the weight on the ramp and no worry about the Spyder bottoming out. I drive the two front tires on the ramps and the back tire tracks in between.:) Sent from my LJR using Tapatalk 2

New to spyders, which one to purchase?

I am a female rider and I ride a 2011 RT SE 5. I love it for the comfort. As I have posted last year, we did a two week 2500 mile trip while my hubby rode his HD Roadglide. You'll have a stereo, heated grips, cruise, etc. The only thing I added for comfort was a backrest. After the learning...

Report on day one heading to Spyderfest

WHAT LAMONSTER SAID I was purposeful in looking for your update after reading your post yesterday. As a fellow woman rider, you inspire me. Not to be afraid to go for it whether you're with someone or not. The guys probably don't get that sentiment, just the way society is. However, it has...

    Parking Brake Problem, Maybe

Gremlins?? Well, I rode it home last night...checked the brake fluid and it was so full almost overflowing, so that wasn't the problem. Never had an issue starting it up to leave work and releasing the parking brake nor when I got home and parked it in the garage. So, other thought is it was on...

Do You Carry a Gun When You Ride

Yes, we do My husband carrys but he is in law enforcement, well trained and knowledgable. I do have a CCL, but do not carry. A few years ago I left my gun in the car and the car got stolen. About a month later we got a call from local Law Enforcement, it had been used in a burglary. No one got...

    Parking Brake Problem, Maybe

I have a RTS SE5 and after backing it out of garage to warm up while I put my gear on, I put the parking brake on. An orange check engine screen came on for about 5 seconds then went to normal screen. Went to work and when pushing the parking brake button an orange parking brake screen came on...

    Observations at 3K

Bike and Trike I own a 2012 RTS SE5 and my hubby has a HD Roadglide. Bike and trike is safe and just as fun as trike/trike. Guess it depends on the bike rider. My husband feels comfortable/relaxed and safe on hid HD so it's enjoyable and fun. We went on a 2500 trip last summer to...

    need advice re:prescription glasses

Wylie X For years I have been wearing Wylie X Sunglasses/Goggles. They darken/lighten automatically and have foam around the frames which blocks out wind/dirt/light from coming in over the top or sides. I need bifocals and they work great, plus the foam pops off and you have regular glasses...

Far less limp mode posts, do you think they got it with the last software update?

I Agree I also think that because we are out of the "riding season" in the northern tiers of the country, no long distance or vacation biking trips going on right now. But truly hope all our upcoming ryding adventures this coming year are painless and trouble free:pray:

New Throttle Body - a question

The "whine" is very high pitched and to some might be hard to detect. The only time I hear it is when it is in the garage and there is complete silence. I can't or don't notice when outside.;)

New Throttle Body - a question

Well, to add to the confusion, my 2011 RTS SE5, brokedown last summer and found out it was due to the throttle body. So had everyting replaced and the Tech told us about the whine and to expect it is for the reasons stated above. So, my Spyder runs great now and it DOES still do the whine, for...

Where are all the Spyders on the west coast ??

Washington State We live about 15 miles southeast of Seattle. Spyders are few and far between here. In fact, whenever I see one I get a little over the top, almost standing up and waving both arms:yes: I believe there are 3 or 4 dealers within about 60 miles of us. So don't exactly know of...

    2013 Spyder RT-S and ST-LTD!
