No, not really. Overnight the bike would be covered with a full cover, not into wet seats LOL, and they would have to cut all the wires to remove it which would render it trash since the connections are molded to the back.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yea! Yes, it does. ( Off Topic) This weekend we are getting hazy and smokey skies from the wildfires from Canada. We have unhealthy air quality alerts here in Vermont until Monday. They are saying that the air quality is unhealthy for sensitive people in all of the counties in Vermont). We don't need any more rain here in Vermont.

You might be lucky enough to find someone who can help with info on a local mechanic, but removing an old sway bar and fitting an Ultra bar really isn't something that's beyond most people who know which end of a screwdriver to hit or a spanner to spin, IF you can get down there.
Just to get an idea of what's really needed, try entering 'Swaybar install' into the Search field (up toward the top right of the page, outboard of your username); tick the 'Search titles only' box; submit the search; then spend some time reading. There's a LOT of discussion on how others have done this job.
Also, bear in mind that once you've got the old bar out, you really don't need all that much height to install the new Ultra bar, so if you really can't find way to safely lift your Spyder high enough to angle the OEM bar out, you might want to consider a demo saw or an angle grinder/metal cutter - there's more than one way to get a bar you aren't going to use again out of there, and it's not as if there's too many people looking to buy removed OEM sway bars!

Very likely. However, I moved from an area where you needed to chain down patio furniture (Southern California) to a small Tennessee town of 40,000. While stuff still happens both here and on the road, I am never again going to spend my life worrying, it robs me of my peace and life is just too short. Based on some comments about the USB port in the glove box of my 2024 Spyder, I decided to look for a USB port plug.
And I did find some with little "grab" handles on them, so they're easy to hold onto while you insert them into the USB port.
But of course they aren't designed for the vibrations of a motorcycle, so I was worried about it falling out, and then getting lost.
And I came across something that tickled my brain, and... I bought some "stuff" for my Spyder!
The small black square is the USB plug, and the black cord is a cell phone wrist strap.
The small end of the strap is designed to be looped through a hole in a cell phone case, and then the larger end slips around your wrist. The oval part in the center slides up and down the strap, so it's tight on your wrist.
So I looped the small end around the "handle" on the USB plug, and secured it in place with a drop of plastic modelling cement. I knew that white glue wouldn't work, since it can be dissolved in water.
Then I'll loop the "wrist" part of the strap around the USB port's cable, and then push the slider tight around the cable.
I can remove it when I drop off my Spyder at the dealer for service so I don't have to answer odd questions about "what's that thing in the glove box?"
And if I lose it I have plenty of spares. The plug came in a package of 10, and 6 was the smallest order for the wrist straps.

So I went out and installed my plug leash/tether/strap thingy and learned something about the USB plug.
As you fully insert the USB cap into the plug, it "snaps" into place.
And it's a tight enough fit that it wouldn't vibrate loose while riding.
But I still like the tether since makes sure I don't lose the cap while riding, because the cap stays attached to the cable.

Good move. Tennessee is a great state.
I'm in central VA, and crime is rarely a problem here as well.
