• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

Seems like I remember someone showing a parts list that was near a grand but none the less still a good chunk of change! Sounds like the price was all over the place, I paid around $630.
i just hope they come through for you!

Local dealer wanted $1100...I got them online for just over $700...plus shipping.

This was before they put the "package" together for a little cheaper.

BRP tells me now that my dealer should have my full refund (parts and shipping) next week.

Let's see....

.

Well the the end of the work week is closing fast and my dealer hasn't heard anything from BRP who said my refund would happen this week, losing faint again. :banghead:

This is stuff gets old, been over 2 months now. :gaah:

Good luck! It's always harder to get the money back than get the free panels. I hope it turns out well for you and everyone else who paid up front.

Oh my gosh!:yikes:

Received my check today for total cost of my panels and shipping!

BRP stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.

Took 2 and a half months, but who's counting. :roflblack:

I went for a nice ride Saturday and Sunday and so far I'm loving my no side panels! They look good, seem to provide better air flow over the engine and also block some air from hitting my legs. Now I need to try them in 90 degree weather...

Had mine installed last week (Side Panels) rode saturday 89 degrees and seems like a slight differance at foot but gas still trying to boil so guess it's a start.... See next summer but I'M thinking not. Fumes still there has to set out till they clear though.

Back in June, we decided to get the new panels for my wife's 2013 ST-S. We paid out of pocket and the panels made a big difference for the better. Shortly after that, as you all know, Can-Am started offering the upgrade under warranty. I was just going to forget about it but I figured nothing to lose by asking for a refund for my out of pocket expenses. I called BRP headquarters and told them what happened. At first I was told that since it was before the warranty period, nothing they could do. I just asked for a re-consideration and explained what my wife went through, first degree burns on her left leg after riding, how long we had the bike, etc. After a few questions and answers, BRP agreed to the refund. I gave them all the dealer info where the panels were installed and they verified the info and approved the refund. It actually took over a month for the process to go through but we eventually got our money. Thanks to BRP for coming through.

Funny how different story's are on this subject :(

Mine took 2 months, but finally got my money back.

ST Airflow panels

A very nicely worded email to BRP care advising of the heat to the right leg and asking when they were going to be made available in pure magnesium is all it took for the new panels to be made available and installed as a good will jester by BRP. I had to wait about three months but in the end after a few follow up emails they were amazing with the customer care. Just had them installed by dealer and notice the difference already.....very happy spyder owner.....

just saw this and I just bought a new 2013 ST. Is this honored for any 2013 ST owner. It did seem a bit warm at traffic stops.

New member here. Forgive me for not reading all the posts on this thread!
