• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just received my "Welcome Packet" from BRP after buying my 2014 Cognac RT-S SE-6 July 18, 2014!! Nice packet, went to register for the "Pin Program" for mileage pins ( 5000mi, 25000mi, and 100,000mi) and it does not exist any more!! Why send out out-dated welcome packets???? Just asking......but I LOVE my Spyder!!!!!!:clap::yes::yes:

No answer to your question but I just purchased my 100K mileage patch from Lynn Lees embroidery (a sponsor of this site) and it really looks sharp.. much more visible than the small pin you would have received
and very modestly priced

They probably have 8.326 gazillion welcome packages printed up with the "old" information about the mileage pin program.

Bob: No idea what is going wrong with your receipt of package. I am guessing that they even know who you are. :roflblack:

Guess I will put my 100K "collector pin" in my place for keepsakes.

:congrats: on your new 2014 RT-S SE6 Cognac. I bought my 2014RT-S SE6 on July 30, 2014, and I received my "Welcome Packet" in Sept. You are really going to like the 14's. They are an awesome machine. Welcome to Cognac Club!!! Deanna

Me too

I'm still waiting for mine...
They say that "Patience is a virtue"
I hope that they are right! :D

I bought my Spyder RTL in September, during the September promotion. I received mt BEST warranty info today. No welcome packet from BRP yet. Waiting and enjoying my ride.

Me too. I bought my Spyder 13 months ago and I'm still waiting as well. Every time this subject comes up a bunch of people usually chime in and say they never got one. There must be some system for who gets them and who doesn't. And for some reason, you and I are on the list that does not qualify, Bob. :sour:

I too asked about the pin.

I received the "Welcome to the Community" mailing with cover letter, owner patch, pin and 2014 accessories catalog. Both the folder and the cover letter talk about the "Pin Program". Not finding it on the web site I used the contact form on the BRP website to ask about the pin program. I got a reply the next day from BRP telling me that the pin program had been discontinued. I replied to this information with just "That is disappointing". I am not concerned about the pin BRP can start and stop programs as they see fit, I am Okay with that. The disappointing part is the recite of packet both folder and cover letter boasting about a currently discontinued program. I understand the "Lets get ride of the old before we use the new", but the consequence is disappointment when someone zeros in on the now misinformation.

Could it be that they have a "thing" about Bobs? :dontknow:

Oh! :D I know what has happened.
They've got us confused with "Tom"... :roflblack:

It must have something to do with the translation form English, to French-Canadian. :dontknow:
