There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 300 miles on my new 2021 Spyder RT- Sea to Sky

I have just over 300 miles on my new Sea to Sky. I love the way it shifts and rides. I have my tire pressures at 18 front and 28 rear. I still find that if I back off the accelerator when upshifting, I don't feel the little surge when it shifts normally.I do shift in the area of 2200 rpms or so. I traded in a 2014 Spyder ST-ltd SE-5 with about 6400 miles. I don't go far but I need a certain amoun of back support and comfort. The ST didn't have that, but it was a cool machine. Champagne color and like new condition.
As far as the 300 miles service goes, I know it is not in any BRP instructions. I don't know of any dealer that does it for no charge, the first time. What they are saying is that they like to remove any metal filings in the oil and make sure everything is tightened properly. I know it is an extra 250 in their pockets. I do like the dealer ( East coast cycle Center). I have bought 3 trikes from them and traded in two. They do treat me well and they are the only dealer close to me. (20 minutes and 10 miles away.)
Other than that, I love riding the machine. It is definitely way more comfortable than the ST series. I now know that. I leave the windshield down when I ride and find that is good. I use my Garmin GPS from my other car and stick it on the little glove compartment with its suction cup and it holds perfectly. I run the wire into my frunk under the windshield and have a cable that connects on to my battery tender and has the 12 volt receptacle to plug my GPS into. Ii presume you can run a wire from the glove box to the frunk if some of the tupperwear is removed. I will let the dealer show or do it for me when I come in for the 600 mile DONATION. LOL
I started using the Slime tire guage ( brass straight in ). No problem on the front tires and just a minor bit of body crunches on the floor for the rear tire. LOL. Like everyone said, the Harley dealer has the extension for the filling and checking of the tire pressures. If necessary, that should work fine, from what most of the people have said. I was having a problem opening and closing the frunk. I had a full face helmet in there and when I removed it, it opened and closed easily. I don't think there are any more adjustments.
That's it for now. Everyone enjoy your Spyder's and stay safe.

The sweet spot for shifting on a 1300/3 engine is around 3500. Try that and you will most likely find seamless shifting on the upside.

ARtraveler is right; at least 3500 for shifts, or higher. It helps to hold the throttle perfectly still, where you had it when shifting up or down. The engine does the rev matching for you. Don't ride under 3K rpms either.

I read on this forum some dealer recommended a 300 mile oil change on the 20/21 in addition to the 3K service to remove any minute filings during early break in. Thought that was rather odd and unnecessary expense since BRP recommends a change at the 3K mile service.

I agree with not shifting till you get around 3500 rpm. Even if you run it in ECO Mode you wouldn't shift till 2900 to 3000 rpm's
