oil change

had the oil changed today and i understand the trans filter does not need to be changed till 28k, but where is it located on the bike. we couldn't find it

As I remember..!!

it is internal. You have to remove engine cover and replace the filter and gaskets. This is why it is an expensive change when the time comes.. :thumbup:

12 looks more like a filter to me. It is internal gasketed. My money is on that one. Guess you could always buy one from the dealer and match it that way. I plan on doing my own if possible.
