Sad news...

Kris and I just heard some very sad news this afternoon. A very active member and supporter of GOS suddenly passed away. Laura Jones Bucher, wife of Ken, was found unresponsive sometime yesterday morning. We don't have any other details and the family has asked for privacy. We know that the funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm at Church of the Advent Episcopal Church, 124 W. Church St., Williamston, NC. Without family permission I cannot post the home address. Kris and Laura were very good friends so Kris is taking this hard. This is also posted on the GOS Facebook page. Laura and Ken were a lot of fun and we had some spirited conversation and debates. Please keep Ken and family in your prayers during this difficult time.
