• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Crazy Weather!!!!

It's nice to hear that some of you are able to enjoy your Spyders.
I live in Water Valley Alberta Canada. It is now -30f with about 20" of snow. We rode our Spyder for about 2 months before putting it away for the winter. I have about 6 months to polish and clean it up before we start riding again next may. Looking forward to our first ride in 2009.

Spydermouse, I feel very bad for you. I do expect to see one very shiny spyder photo come May though...LOL It may be cold and snowy but I'll bet it is beautiful.

I have read a lot about that in the forum and have seen the famous tricycle photos and video:D. It made me realize then that you can form and develop good relations from acquaintances to good friends online. You guys are welcome here. :2thumbs:

If bjt's job goes belly up here, you may have a visit from us sooner than expected. We have relatives in Elko. My daughter was out there a few years ago but bjt and I haven't been out there yet. We really want to make a long out west ride one of these days but we have to see how finances and time goes. In the mean time, we will do our long spyder weekends and get together with as many spyder folks as possible. So if any of you hit the Great Lakes State, let us know.

Deb 78 in Pensacola today about 60 % chance of rain. the remainder of the week is upper 70's for highs mid 50's for lows and sunshine (non-liquid type). You and BJ come on down whenever you like - you are always welcome. :2thumbs:

Thank you very much. With that weather, we'd be riding even in the rain. Enjoy and if you get to Michigan, the invitation goes both ways.
