• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

got a package in the mail today from BRP, Came home from work today and saw the package on the table, from the writing on the package label it reads "Important Safety Recall Notice", Shipped from Lachine QC, Canada to my residence in South Carolina. Opened it up and it was a new gas cap. I have attached a copy of the recall letter. I will take a ride with the warm weather this weekend and see if the Gas smell goes away.

Thanks for the info I received the recall on the evap can waiting to see if my:spyder2: is on the list for a fuel cap although I have no gas smell.

I called BRP CUSTOMER SERVICE yesterday because i never got a voucher for the new side plate for oil inspection and at the time I asked them about the gas cap and they told me they were shipping them out to owners in the south first because of their extended riding season and then to us folks in the rain belt northwest later. OK mine is sleeping right now anyway. Just thought I'd share what they told me.

Received recall notices on the 2008 and 2009 GS/RS--neither of which I own any more.

Have not received gas caps for the 2010 or 2011 RT's yet.

Got the letters for the evap canister recall on my two '09 SE5s, but no gas caps. I know that no one down here is originally from here, but this is the South! 😛
