I decided to look up gas cap, and see what I could come up with. Other than smell, there are 3 pages of members no longer here, except for one. Recognize anyone, or maybe all.

I was then going to look up the steering assist (I can't think of the correct terminology) problem to see how many more absentees I recognize. I do remember the member who actually went off the road, and was lucky he was able to talk about it.

I just had some time on my hands and decided to take a trip down memory lane.

The steering assist is the DPS (Dynamic Power Steering). I had 2 of them go out on my 2008 RS. The current unit is now giving me trouble. There have been several revisions to this component over the years. I rarely hear of a problem with them these days.
