• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

upcoming Big Announcement.....hmmm, what's it going to be?

I already posted the 4 (3 new) patents on a leaning Spyder by Can Am early in the year, they dont post the patent til the prototype has been developed to working level. So the leaning Spyder is ready. Hope like hell they change the motor and nanny out for something decent.

Everyone gets what they want

ST Hybrid helmet to go with the 2013 ST Spyder.
Just mount a bigger mor eefficient engine and one more gear in the Spyder and I might have to buy a new one. 47,700 miles on the 2008 GS SM5.:doorag:

I know I'm gonna regret making this request cause I know its a dumb one, but any possibility we could see some pics and specs Sunday night? LOL. I sho would love to have something when I walk into my dealer on Monday.

Something just struck me. Must have been a vision. I believe the new ST will be shaft drive with a CVT. Makes a lot of sense. Would solve a lot of problems. Would increase torque a ton without needing a lot more HP. Would be a rocket.

Do we really need to have that much attention-getting power under our right wrists?? :2thumbs:

My thoughts exactly! I'm perfectly happy with what I have thank you. Heck, whenever we tell people the cc's they can't believe it! Even the HD riders, hubby included, are impressed!

This is it! I have it on good authority the new Spyder will be front wheel drive with a rear wheel for steering! As a result, the handlebars are now fly by wire. This allows the software the possibility to allow users to simulate "counter-steering" by simply enabling the option in the settings.

Did I say authority? I meant imagination. Good imagination.

I plan on doing a live streaming video on my Facebook page as soon as I get the okay from BRP of the new Spyder lineup.
Official Announcement will be Sunday the 23rd @ 9:00pm est
