• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Price Survey

At these prices i can't afford to pay for gas and pay my chauffeurs salary, so i have to let him go'. :(
I'm going to hate driving the Bentley myself. :gaah:
But in this day and age we all have sacrifices to make.

I hate when that happens:banghead:

The news had some politician on the other day (Senator??) complaining that it cost him $90 to fill up his vehicle..... then it was disclosed he drives a Hummer. Brilliant choice of a vehicle if you're really concerned about spending $$$ on gas eh........

This is our prices per u.s. gallon. No exchange rate factored in. Approximately $1.30 per liter.
Oh yeah did I mention that the Spyder and accessories cost 20% more to purchase on our side of the 49th? :banghead:

So you won't hear a lot of complaints about gas prices from those of us who are traveling to Cuba from this side of the border. We will actually see a drop in gas prices!

The glass is half full.......the glass is half full
Last week (sun-fri) I went from one side of Ontario to the other and the price ranged from 127.7 to 136.9 a liter in the sticks, however in that same time NY jumped up 40 cents a gallon. What a scam. NorthStar you have some nice snowmobile trails up there.

Over here in OZ (I live between Sydney and Newcastle on the east coast) they tell us the propoganda that because the U.S. economy is picking up that your demand for fuel has increased, and the problems with Iran etc, it is making our fuel more expensive so as of today our fuel prices are...

Unleaded E10 (10% ethanol) $1.48 per litre = $5.62 per gal

Unleaded 93 octane $1.50 per litre = $5.70 per gal

Unleaded 95 octane $1.70 per litre = $6.46 per gal

Unleaded 98 octane $1.81 per litre = $6.87 per gal

So as said in a previous message 3.8 litres equals 1 US gallon, our fuel is quite expensive.

If prices keep going up as they have in February, the price of gas will have a direct impact on those who plan on attending, the BBQ, Spyderfest and Durango.
For mileage from Florida:
One way
only:

BBQ 650
Spyerfest 1150
Durango 2000

3,800 x 2 = 7,600 / 25 mpg = 304 gals x 4.00 = $ 1,216 gas cost.. no meals, no hotel, no nothing else, including no riding while at the events.

I think the math is correct... if a problem please correct.

Better plan on $5.00 to be safe------ so $ 1,520.00....... :yikes:

Hey if that Keystone pipe line go's though, gas prices will rise even more.
The oil would be sent to the gulf coast refineries, And then sent to the world market's where the oil
companies can get a higher price, Plus it will free up the pipeline back logs in the Midwest so those prices can be increased also.
