Did the valve adjustment on my 2009 GS at 84,000 miles. Only needed one shim on the rear cylinder (exhaust). All of the rest are in spec., but not by much. They are all getting tighter (less clearance). Probably should have changed them all (shims are cheap - labor is not), but dealer did not have the shims for this. Had to get the one shim we used from a Harley dealer. All is well for now.
This was only the second time valves were inspected. BRP maintenance schedule is overkill.
