Update 6/12/25: Lamont Garage said the left front tire was "3/4" toed OUT, so dragging the left tire along made the tire wear unevenly on the inside (of course, right?)Front wheel alignment at Lamonster's Garage
Left front tire was wearing on the inside (toe OUT)
Perhaps gas mileage will improve now that I'll not be dragging the left front tire along.....![]()
Gave it a much needed wash a couple of days ago then parked it. Today it got a nice coat of wax and a buff. Everything is prepped for our 10 day trip through Ontario and Up State NY.
I love the red detailing.
Hi Deanna, I should probably edit my comment a little bit. We'll be in the Finger Lakes area of New York. Sorry for the mislead.I took a ride and ran errands.
HI Poppie65,
While in Up-State New York, are you going to go thru the Lake George, Plattsburgh, Lake Placid area?
Deanna
I can't imagine a better way to spend time together. Look out, she'll be wanting a bike of her own.Took one of my oldest granddaughters on about a 120 mile ride around to some of the local lakes and on some back roads. Seems like now I have a riding partner for whenever the wife doesn't want to ride. We do day trips to the mountains and to the beach each year, she already asked if she could go if grandma doesn't. Works for me.

I actually did take her by the dealership and showed her the Ryker. With the $2000+ rebates on leftover 2024's they have some great deals. Especially on the 600 cc Rykers. For my 260 pounds, it would be a bit small, but for her 5'-1" small frame, it would be perfect.I can't imagine a better way to spend time together. Look out, she'll be wanting a bike of her own.
