1. Remove the frunk liner
2. Remove the battery cover
3. There's a slot/opening just above the battery. Feel around inside. There's 2 wires tucked inside. They are not wrapped.
BeRight---See posts 5 and 6. It's only 5V (which makes sense since it's supposed to plug into the trunk and that only runs a USB outlet and the LED run/brake light).
It's not 5V. It's 12V. Only 5 amps.

billybovine--Never thought about tapping into the one for the trunk for those who have the base model. I wonder if it would be as simple as sourcing the trunk side of the connection that way you could easily unplug if needed.
So how did the tensioner install go. Mine came in today but to late to install. I did get the mirrors kit installed however and hopefully this will be the end of this issuewow thanks _ I can confirm that there is NOT one on left side
Had to take off entire left side today to install Lamonster tensioner
2020 RT - I found connector in rear under top back cover (forgot real name) - It just lifts up and slides out. It can be replaced for LinkQ accessories/top case/big passenger section that is on Limited edition

The big question is mating connector ?????? - I don't want to cut it off.

...1+ hours to get plastic, floorboard and passenger footpeg off and back on.
