• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Insurance in nevada

I’ve committed to a place in Las Vegas and was wondering who you guys are insured with in Nevada.
AAA used to be good in California(didn’t view spyder as motorcycle) but they don’t insure spyder anymore so I’m assuming it’s same in Nevada but I will check.
Thank you in advance.

I'm using GEICO at @ 450/year

Thank you.
I’ve only talked to progressive so far but it’s less than half of what it costs in LOS Angeles.

I paid $240 to register the spyder in California, hopefully it’s less than here. :)

We have Progressive through USAA $500 for 6 months for a 14 RT and a 13 RT.

Call progressive directly. Florida full year coverage better then minimum $447.

I'm covering a 2016 RTL. Also a 2018 Goldwing Tour $742 full year.

If you are a disabled veteran rated at 60% or more disablity you can file with Clark County Assessors office and they will give you an abatement for your property taxes. You can use it on your home or Motor vehicles.

weird that progressive says Uninsured Motorist coverage is not available in NV (state itself not just progressive) but Geico says they do for $102 per year.
so its Geico at $279 and progressive at $389, same coverage/roadside service without collision and I can tack on UM coverage to Geico for the same price as progressive so no brainer.
I think Geico is right up there with progressive as far as quality of insurance company goes.

My spyder and motorcycles are insured through Progressive and I've always been offered uninsured motorist coverage.

yea, I thought it was strange that UM is not offered as a state. may be it was just a new rep from progressive that gave me incorrect info.

Thsnk God tor that!

does Spyder needs smog check in NV?

No smog test for motorcycles or Spyders in greater Las Vegas area. Your car will need one though.

Also, the DMV here is pretty efficient if you have an appointment.

Plate & Registration WILL PROBABLY BE MORE!

With my Vet status, registration of my 2014 RT is about $240/year
But think of the bright side, you'll be able to get a Concealed Carry for under $100 for 5 years!

I don't get it.
full coverage on a 2018 Altima is like $3600 a year???
but coverage for Spyder is less than half of that in cali but double for a car???
