I mentioned in another post about a 29 tooth front sprocket from Mel's.Here is the reply I received"Hi Jay, Yes we are starting to make the Solid billet aluminum front sprocket. We found that you can only go one tooth bigger due to what adjustment BRP has. We are going to make one with one tooth missing. Stock sprocket is 28 teeth ,our new sprocket is 29 teeth and we will be coming out with a 27 tooth in the next 2 weeks. the 29 tooth saves gas how much? But less RPM = less gas, we don't really know because I can't drive 55. Thank you Jimmy MMG" no mention of price though. So for those who want to drop RPM's a little and possibly increase top end this could be the ticket.
