There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Taller windshield

I have a 14 ST Limited with the stock adjustable windscreen. I need the windscreen to be about 1 inch taller. Can anyone recommend a taller windscreen that would fit the stock mounts?

Have you ever had trouble with your stock windshield "slipping" to the lowest position?
There have been some reports of this happening, when a larger screen has been put in place?
I would ask them if they have tested their design, to see if it makes this happen...
Good Luck!

The stock windshield has plenty of height. An oversize windshield will also lower your gas mileage due to more wind drag. On my last bike I got a larger windshield because the top of the oem shield was right in my line of sight. Our stock shield also has a re curve at the top making it seem taller than it really is but I rarely have it all the way up.

I installed a calsci large windshield. Gas mileage was not hurt. In fact I think it is better. The windshield is more aerodynamic than I am.

Repairing the windshield sliding down is not that hard. Some time and four small washers are all you need. I posted a thread on how to fix the sliding windshield.

Have you checked out the taller windshield from can am. It did the job for me but you do have to install the kit that helps it stay up because the weight is just that much more than stock.

No I didn't but I purchased the CalSci and must say, IT IS PERFECT!
It does exactly what I wanted it to do, the people were great to deal with and kept the money right here in the USA.

Where can I find the post to fix the sliding down of the larger windshield I just had installed?

I got the windshield today. A little background first. I ordered an extra tall, extra wide Cal Sci windshield a few weeks ago. Once I got it and installed it, on the way to gas up for a ride, it started cracking out of the bolt holes. We went home to change back to the OEM Shield. After speaking to them about it, they agreed to ship me a new one. I asked for a size shorter. The new ones now have a thick rubber grommet in the holes. The stock screws are too short. I am going with the next size bigger and longer along with some nylock nuts. Ill have to drill out the holes on the brackets just a little but I was not comfortable with the stock size pushing that larger shield.

I have ridden several times since this fix and the windshield has not dropped at all. It looks to be a good fix. Thanks for the tip.
