Post #4 and #5 have to do with the reason I felt the need to mod the upper supports.

I found it too easy to just push these supports from the bike as they only clamp and really aren't secure at all. A design flaw or done purposely as a break away mount? Not sure but I didn't like it so I "fixed it" to my liking.
Pretty simple really. In the first pic, I drilled both pieces (P5 and P10 and then P5 and P11) at one time after taping them securely together. I then made up 4 threaded studs out of 3mm stainless cap head screws.
The P5 cap holes were then tapped and the 3mm studs were secured with loctite.
Assembly still as per instructions and also aligning the studs I installed in the P5 caps with the holes in the P10, P11 left and right supports.
Installation completed after securing the assemblies with the 2, P6 Torx screws. The 2 supports aren't going anywhere now.
