Last Friday the foliage on the Blue Ridge Parkway (BRP) in Central Virginia was supposed to be approaching peak, so I took a little run over that way to check it out. I left N. Chesterfield and headed west on Rte. 60 and took it over to where it intersected with the Parkway, roughly 123 miles. I took it south and ran down to where it intersected with Rte. 501, headed east on it through Lynchburg (where I lived and worked for 12 years), and home. Shot a video with the dash cam that was installed on the Ryker when I got it, but it does loop videos and it overwrote some the journey; still learning to fly that airplane too. This was the longest run to date on the beast - 275 miles.
No audio. I’ve muted the mic because of too much annoying wind noise. It’s a petty neat system, but their customer support is non-existent so no one can tell me where the mic is located so I can cover it up to muffle the noise.
Anyway, here’s the clip.
