• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

XM radio

I have a 2014 spyder rt limited and here is my problem. When I purchased the machine I had the dealer install the xm radio, I know that where the antenna is installed when I ride double that the passenger will sometimes block the signal so that's not a big problem. The real problem which I had it back to the dealer twice for is this, when I go through a spot that I loose the signal for an extremely long period of time the xm radio cuts out and never comes back on unless I stop the machine and turn it off and then restart it. The dealer has changed the xm module and just last week they changed the entertainment harness to what they called an enhanced harness. When I took the machine for a test ride because they were having an open house it worked fine but they did not have the harness completely secured to the machine and it had several pieces of the tupperware off. After I picked the machine up from them and the job was complete, guess what, took it to the area where I loose signal for extended time and the radio cut out and never came back on. I took it back to the dealer and their contacting brp again. I was wondering if anyone had this same problem and what you did about it.

Thanks

There must be a bug in the Can Am audio unit. I was playing the Pandora app on my cell phone connected to a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the iPod connector. I lost cell service for a while. Same thing, as I recall, had to reboot the whole system to reconnect the audio signal. No idea if there is any linkage between your problem and mine but I wonder.
