When I started with Spyderlovers 11 months ago, I was amazed at the wealth of good information and helpful people posting to the forums. I have spend many, many hours reading on vendor products, mods, farkles, trailering, technical aspects of, and all the fun you can have with your Spyder!
However... I am seeing a gradual rise in the lack of respect for others opinions, snarky comments, abruptness, closed mindedness (if that is a word), and in many cases down right rudeness of more than a few folks posting to the forums. I have seen many comments and replies made that, truthfully, I wouldn't say to people I didn't like. Let along folks I had never met and would like to engage in sharing the fun of owning and riding Spyders. These negative and rude behaviors are not what draws me to the forums. And, the ridicule and rudeness is becoming more apparent.
Folks, this will scare away the newcomers, chase off the core members, and could totally take away the fun of learning about a fun motorsport and a great ride!
I am not asking the moderator(s) to get involved, but I am asking folks to be self-moderating. We need to keep it open, honest, helpful and positive if we wish to gain and keep new spyder riders!
This is just my opinion. Flame away if you want.
