How long can I leave my Spyder in the garage without starting it up/taking it out?
Title says it all, but some context:
- Going on a long (non-ryding) trip, our Spyder will be unused for about 25 days
- Spyder will be staying home in our building's parking garage -- it's private, covered and safe, but no electricity drop to our parking spots, unfortunately, so...
- No battery tender possible, and
- No putting it up on blocks, etc.
Happy to listen to why I should somehow overcome the latter two limitations (I would probably agree), but am mostly interested in knowing if I need to arrange to have it started up and maybe taken around the garage while I'm gone, or if I don't need to worry. Spyder is a 2017 RT bought new in December, and has had the initial 3000 mile service done recently.
If you recommend starting it up and running it a bit, how long should it be run to do the battery charging justice, etc.?
Thanks in advance for your input.
