• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yuasa OE Spec Batteries out of stock - What's my best alternative?

Also Batteries Plus: Duracell
DURAGM-18L-US. 330CCA. Fits w/o the battery bracket on top, lasted 3years & just recently took a dive. Possibly from poor charging while couple (months) long service waits & down time. Lucked out & found a Yuasa replacement locally.

Just because it's on the web site is no guarantee it's available in the local store! I'll ask today when I pick up the Xtreme. The first one I was going to buy from them was shown as available for pick up, but they didn't have any in stock. Don't trust the availability indication on Batteries Plus web site. Plus that one is $185. Pretty steep price. The Xtreme is $120.

Here's another option Battery Tender Engine Start Battery: Lithium Motorcycle Battery with Smart Battery Management System (BMS) - 12V 6.1 AH 360 CCA Lightweight Starting Batteries for Motorcycles and ATVs - BTL20A360CW https://a.co/d/7vdgIo6

Out of stock.

The OEM Yuasa is out of stock; but the alternative from Drag Specialties is listed and can add to cart (just bought one the other day from Lamonster). From what I gather, Drag Specialties is made by Yuasa.... so, essentially the same battery.

All the Best ...... Ann

When I looked the other day only two batteries came up and both were out of stock. He must have just gotten some in.

The battery in my RT is showing signs of failing and I need to get one before I leave for Deadwood on July 7. But EVERYONE seems to be out of stock for the Yuasa YTX24HL. What's my best alternative? Anyone have decent experience with PowerStar batteries? How about from Interstate Batteries? I'm having trouble finding a part # for the Interstate one.

The next choice is the Odyssey PC680. A few bucks more than the Yuasa but also a top quality and MADE IN USA AGM type battery.

I did the duracell at Batteriesplus....110-115$ with a full 2 year warranty (load test). I also have a maintainer/tender on it. This way if I'm traveling I can get one at any Batteriesplus location if need be. I always keep the batteries on the maintainer... and try to when I'm traveling.
