Here in good Ole Indiana the Farmers are ready to get out there and plant their crops. They are saying stop the rain and let us have dry fields.
This is going to be a late start for planting. But better a little late than never.

Wednesday 5/01/24

:yes:...Welcome to May 1st weather news from my Local Weather area good Ole Indiana.
Currently we have cloudy sky and 53°F.
My local Farmers are saying maybe get somefield time this weekend. Definitely need to be in by May 15th.

Today's high is 82°F with no rain in the forecast.
Low of 53°F with lots of sunshine.

Everything look good here. Going to get some quality Spyder Ryde Time today.

A week of 80's for us.

The Cicadas are coming, the Cicadas are coming, the Cicadas are coming. According to the map, looks like we are going to be ground zero.

Happy May Day from the desert! Today it'll be 93 with no clouds and a light breeze of about 5 MPH. The humidity is 12% and the overnight low will be 63. This is the time of year that snakes, spiders, scorpions and other critters start to become active around here. Tomorrow I'm having a pest control company do a complete "dusting" of my crawl space and perimeter house treatment that is good for 6 months. In years past I have done this myself except I just threw bug bombs in the crawl space. Haven't had any real problems but now I'm getting too old and (mostly) lazy so it's time to have the professionals do their thing. Stay safe..... Jim

Thursday 5/02/24

:spyder:...Welcome to day 2 of May, currently we have overcast sky at 63°F. Yesterday was a very beautiful day with sunshine. I was able to get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Time. A person could get use to this kind of thing. But after an hour of sitting (saddle time) I am ready for a long break. It's one of those things.

Today's high should be about 87°F, with some sunshine mixed up with clouds.
Low of 64°F. Maybe get a little rain shower this evening.

Friday 5/03/24

....Good Morning to you. Currently we have overcast sky and a little rain shower at 65°F. The fields were looking good but now this rain is not helping.

High today of 74°F with some morning rain showers.
Low at 58°F with possible rain shower this evening.

Weekend Weather 5/04 - 5/05/24

hyea:...Good Morning and currently clear sky at 62°F. Well yesterday's rain was a little bit to much for local area Farmers. Several have decided to wait a few more days before getting in the fields. As always they have been dealing with rain for a while this season.

Today numbers are 81°F with some clouds.
Low at 62°F and no rain.

Sunday's high of 73°F with some sunshine.

Monday 5/06/24

:yes:...I believe that this past weekend was a 'breath of fresh air'. The weather was so nice and everything looks so good here in my local area. My butt is a little sore from my Spyder Ryde Times. That's a good thing. Currently we have overcast sky at 58°F. I hope you got to enjoy your time.

Today's numbers are looking good.
High should be about 75°F with some clouds. Maybe get some rain showers this morning and then a shower in the afternoon.
Low of 61°F.

I hear the birds singing their morning songs and getting ready for the day. I have a couple of nests in my backyard that I am waiting for the babies to hatch.

Tuesday 5/07/24

....Yesterday was a very nice sunny day no rain in my local area. Currently cloudy sky and 63°F. Finished with the yard work and now ready for some Ryde Time.
Several of the Farmers got out in the fields and started the planting season. Definitely time to grow some corn and beans.

High today of 77°F with some rain showers this morning and then in the afternoon.
Low at 58°F with a chance of getting some more rain.

Wednesday 5/08/24

:chat:....Welcome to my local area weather news, currently we have overcast sky at 60°F. Yesterday was an off and on rain day. I made the best of it. Several indoor projects are getting closer to completion.

The high for today at 82°F, with a chance of an afternoon rain shower.
Low at 59°F and possibly a little bit of rain this evening. The wife's flowers are so beautiful.

Our last day of bad weather for about a week. Yesterday, I stayed up during the early hours, watching the weather in my area. Two tornadoes doing damage about 75 miles North of here. That doppler radar is amazing and they can pinpoint the actual tornadoes and debris clouds these days. More of the same today and in the same area. So far, we are being bypassed.

Thursday 5/09/24

...Well no tornadoes were happening in my local area, but there were some in Indiana. As far as I know nobody was hurt. Currently we are having some rain showers at 64°F.

Today is going to be another rainy day for me. High of 66°F with showers.
Low is 49°F and some more rain.

I guess some more indoor projects are going to be tackled. Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able. ....:thumbup:

Friday 5/10/24

:yes:....Finally Friday and currently partly cloudy at 52°F. Yesterday was a very rainy day and I completed several more of my indoor projects. It makes the wife very happy.

The weather today is going to be a little cooler. There is a 6% chance of a pop up shower this afternoon.
High of 64°F with some sunshine mixed with clouds.
Low of 54°F with some clouds.

Weekend Weather 5/11 - 5-12/24

:yes:...Welcome to the Weekend here in Indiana. Currently we have cloudy sky and 56°F. We just had a little rain shower, just enough to get everything wet. I hope to get some grass cut today. We will see how that works out.

Today we are looking at 68°F for the high.
Low at 46°F. No more rain today.

Sunday 'Mother's Day' high of 79°F. A mostly sunny day is on the schedule of course.
Low of 58°F.

I'll be joining you soon (In spirit) on the porch. I have some Limoncello brewing right now. It'll be ready in another 3 weeks. The hardest part about making this tasty spirit is having the patience it takes to let it complete the aging process.

Meanwhile..... It's currently 91 here in the desert. Today we'll see a high of 94. There is an 8 MPH breeze and there are no clouds. Humidity is at 10%. We're still cooling off at night down into the 60s. Very pleasant front porch sitting at sundown. Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 5/13/24

...Welcome back from a beautiful sunshine weekend. It was a very challenging 'Mother's Day' visit with my Mom. Her health has declined for the past two months. Her life is in God's Hands.

I hope you had a good Weekend and enjoyed your Ryde Times. Currently we have 59°F with clear sky. I hear the birds singing their morning songs. Such a wonderful sound for me.

Today's numbers are looking good at 79°F for the high. Low of 60°F and no rain here today.

Tuesday 5/14/24

...Well folks the rain is scheduled for today. Calling for some showers later this morning and then off and on all day. I was able to get all my yard work done yesterday. ....:yes:
As an added bonus for me, I got a beautiful Spyder Ryde Time.
Currently cloudy sky and 62°F. I am going to enjoy some early morning Ryde Time.

High today of only 67°F with rain showers.
Low at 60°F and more rain.
