Partly cloudy and windy today here in the desert. The wind is steady at 12 MPH with gusts to 25. The high today will be 68, but... tomorrow the high is forecast to only get to 51 with rain showers pretty much all day. Looks like Friday is going to be a day when outside activities will have to be cancelled. That doesn't happen much here, and it actually is a good break from our normal routine. Good time to catch up on my deferred house keeping. Stay safe... Jim

Finally Friday! This week has been very busy for us. Seems like the first of the month is always crazy. Yesterday was a very windy day here in Indiana. The March Winds are very angry. Currently cloudy sky at 33°F.

High today of 43°F with clouds.
Low at 30°F. Maybe a little rain shower late tonight.

Be Safe and Stay Healthy.
Till Next Time. (y)

Well here in Vermont. Winter is back for the weekend.

BUT next week, we are having a significant warm up starting on Tuesday. Temps on Tuesday are going to be in the upper 50's (y)😀 (ARtraveler, we have that warm weather you sent us last month!) There goes the snowmobile trails, but the Spyder is still in hibernation.

Welcome to the First Weekend of March 2025. Just wanted a little change up. We are beginning to get the Spring 'Fever' here in Indiana. Come on Spring we are excited to see It. Currently we have mostly cloudy sky and 34°F.
No weather issues are in our forecast for the weekend.

Today's high should be 48°F with some sunshine.
Low at 33°F and sunny.

Sunday's high at 57°F with lots of sunshine.
Low of 34°F and sunny.

Just got to Love it!!
I feel like some 'wind therapy' is on the schedule.
Maybe late March or early April.

I hope you can enjoy your Day and maybe get some Ryde Time.
Remember to Stay ahead of the Game.
Till Next Time. (y)

Copied from my weather report about 4 minutes ago;
"As a storm travels through the south-central and southeastern United States this weekend, thunderstorms packing strong winds, flooding downpours and potentially damaging hail will erupt."

Currently sunny and 58 degrees here in the desert. The high will be 65. Yesterday was a wet, cold day. No sun at all with rain off and on all day long. The temperature never did get out of the 40s! We're now in a warming and drying trend and will be back to 80 degrees by Monday. Got my much-needed house cleaning done yesterday. I hate it! Would much rather wax my little convertible 10 times than dust and vacuum the house once. I think getting a cleaning service to come in on a regular basis is in my near future. Stay safe..... Jim

Currently we are getting snow flurries here in Vermont. (Someone pissed off mother nature again!) This week we will have a Spring preview in Vermont. The temps will be in the 50's & 60's. The snowmobile season is coming to an end here in Vermont. We took a ride on the snowmobiles yesterday that was cold & windy. The wind chill factor was -10 degrees, but I dressed for it. ;)

Monday morning and the moon was shining in the western sky. It just dropped behind the trees so I can't see it anymore. Currently clear sky and 37°F. No rain today for us here in Indiana.

High today of 66°F with lots of sunshine.
Low at 45°F.

This is going to be a beautiful warmer week.
Stay Healthy and Enjoy Your Day. (y)

Sun and warm temps all week, snow melting.:D
Salt dust and sand all over the roads.
Frost heaves and potholes that would scare a Trophy Truck.
No riding here for a while.:(

Yesterday's sunshine was great. I was able to get some yard work done. Currently we have clear sky and 50°F.

Today's high is 69°F, lots of sunshine.
Low at 40°F. No rain in our forecast.
I hope you are able to enjoy your Day. Ryde Safe and enjoy the Time.

It was 84 yesterday here in the desert. Had a wonderful, top-down, shirt-sleeve, drive in the little convertible. Today is sunny. The high will be 75 degrees. It's a bit breezy with wind gusts to 15 MPH. Seems like we are on a weather roller-coaster!!! Another big cool down for the next few days. By Friday, the high is only expected to be 55. Later tonight the rain will return and last into most of tomorrow. The outlook looks very unsettled. Not something we're used to. I have been here in the desert a little over 20 years now. Usually there is not much weather change from one day to the next. But this year is different. Stay safe..... Jim

Man oh man, that was an awesome sunny day yesterday. We actually had a high of 72°F.
This warm up is really beautiful for Indiana. Not the norm for March. Currently clear sky with a
bright shining moon in the Western sky. The temperature is 43°F. Come on Spring!!

High today of 70°F with lots of sunshine.
Low at 41°F and No Rain Today.

Going to get my mower up and running.
The grass is growing and so are the wife's flowers.

Hopefully you are doing well and Healthy.
Till Next Time. (y)

Today is going to another great day. Lots of Sunshine. Currently we have mostly clear sky at 39°F. The Full Moon is coming this Friday (3/14/2025).

High today of 72°F with sunshine.
Low at 40°F. Still No Rain Here.
May get some rain 🌧 Friday night and
Saturday.

Ryde and Enjoy your Time.
Till Next Time. (y)

WINDY! Another storm is blowing into the desert. Currently it's 65 degrees and the high is forecast to be 68. Wind at 14 MPH and gusting to 28. Rain starting about 5 PM and lasting about 3 hours. It won't be a heavy soaker though. Only about 0.12 inch expected here in the east valley. It's still forecast to be cold tomorrow, only getting to 55 degrees. There will be a time in the not too distant future when I will look back upon these cooler temperatures and wish to have them again. Stay safe..... Jim

Just can't believe that we are having some crazy warm weather. Yesterday was very nice and warm. Currently we have mostly clear sky and 50°F.
Looking towards the western sky I see a full moon. Tonight we will have the real deal.

Today's numbers are 80°F with some clouds.
Low at 54°F. No Rain in our forecast
till very late tonight. Probably around 1am Saturday.

Have yourself a Blessed Day My Friend. 🙏

Just can't believe that we are having such crazy hot weather. Yesterday & today were both bloody hot & humid (50% minimum humidity, when we'd normally be looking at a max of 5% 😖) with absolutely clear skies, 36 & 38°C respectively. Looking towards the Western sky this evening, I can see a Full Moon. Tonight, most of the Eastern Seaboard will see a Partial Eclipse, but we won't see that here where I am in the middle of the Country, we'll get the Full Moon in all its Glory for most of the night. 😁

The temp tonight has finally dropped below 30°C (it's just after 21:00 here), still with an absolutely clear sky and No Rain in our Forecast for tomorrow, when the temp is expected to hit 40°C by about Midday, and once again not dropping below 30°C until around 21:00. But with any luck, Sunday should be a bit cooler, and the BoM are predicting a chance that we'll be seeing maybe 1mm of rain about mid morning, altho since we haven't had any rain since the short, sharp, floods some months back now, I don't think anyone will be holding their breath!

All that said, at least next week will be a bit cooler with less humidity, so maybe I'll be able to get a bit more riding in?!

Stay Safe & Healthy everyone! (y)

Well here in Vermont, we also have some crazy weather and temps. Early this morning we started dark and early with a total lunar eclipse and got a great viewing thanks to clear skies that was overhead. We will keep the clear skies and sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Daytime highs climb back into the 50's here into the afternoon hours today. Tonight, a few clouds could mix in occasionally as overnight lows fall back into the 30's and 40's for most (this is great maple sugaring weather).

THEN, it will be very warm into the weekend. Saturday is looking a very nice, but it will be clouding up late in the day and into the overnight hours as a frontal system slowly approaches us from the West. Temps are incredibly mild, with most in Vermont in the 60's and some even making the a run towards the 70 degree mark.

That front will hold off until later in the day on Sunday. It will come through with a round of steady rain leading into Sunday night and early Monday morning, before clearing out later on Monday for Saint Patrick's Day. Most places look to run between 0.5-1" inch of new rain. Couple this with the snow melt from higher elevations and we could see a few rivers and streams climb into a minor and moderate flood stage by the start of next week. Flooding should be minor if there is any, but they are keeping an eye on the rivers and streams.

After that, we will be drying out for a few days before another front comes our way later in the week. Temps - again looking pretty mild into mid-week next week. Our snowmobile season will end this weekend in the lower valleys, but in the higher elevations there is still some snowmobile riding left. I took my last snowmobile ride this past Wednesday, 'til next snowmobile season, 2025/2026. Now the Spyder riding season starts next month in April.

The current temp is 47 degrees and sunny, with Blue skies!

Everyone stay Safe, & Healthy!
Deanna
