I tried Deanna, but I believe it went towards Florida :(
Current temp 27 rising to 40, so I will go for a ryde today :) Later this week temps going to the teens with highs of 30.
Redbeard,

Thanks for trying!
The current temp here is 2 degrees and there's a lot of snow (we got about 18-19 inches of snow from the Nor Easter that hit us this past weekend). Next week, there is meant to be a warming trend with temps in the upper 30's, and we might get a few rain showers too. Yea!

But tonight, we are expecting another cold one here in Vermont, although this time, it will be more because of the actual air temps rather than the "feels like" wind chill factor.

The good news that there are NO Major storm systems or cold Arctic air blasts forecast in the near future (Yea!) but there will be still be a few snow showers from time to time as small, fast-moving disturbances pass thru.

One of those disturbances will arrive late Thursday moving into Friday, where we could pick up just a trace of snow to around maybe 2" (my snowmobile is getting a work out for sure this season, all due to the amount of snow that we have had so far).

Another similar disturbance will come through Saturday night heading into Sunday.

A couple of disturbances next week could bring a few more snow showers, but possibly also a few rain showers as our temps finally climb above the freezing mark for the first time in a long time.

The current temp is 2° and not snowing!

(Remember, next week is the last full week of Feb. :))

Everyone stay safe & healthy!

Deanna

Finally, Friday here in Indiana. Yesterday's cold start (-3°F) was the lowest temperature this Year. Currently we have cloudy sky at 12°F. Wind chill is 1°F. High today is 28°F mostly cloudy sky. Low at 11°F. No Snow in our forecast so far. We still have 3 plus inches of Snow on the ground at my House. Have a Great Day.

Woke up to 12°F with wind chill in the middle single digits. High today expected in the lower 20's. Yesterday did get up to 25°F so I went for an hour long ride. Roads were dry, but the snow from recent falls was still all around to admire. Not many folks out driving either. lol. We had some "left over mini flurries" yesterday, but no harm to ryding around.
Stay safe out there.

For the last 2 days the high has been 78 here in the desert. Today will be the same, maybe a little higher. We will warm up each day until getting to the high 80s by Tuesday. Then we will slowly cool down a little each day until we get back to our normal 70ish temperature. Winter life in the desert is good. Stay safe..... Jim

I didn't know if this should go in the weather thread or maybe it should be in the jokes thread.

This is a screen shot of my current weather for today, and the red X is where I live. The weather front is moving almost due West to East.

My Internet weather report says there is a 20% chance of rain today.

I would have been better off to just call the dog in and see if she was wet or not.

Today's high will be 49°F with sunshine.
Low of 34°F. No rain here.

Just enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able. Come on Spring.

At 11 AM it was 74 here in the desert. The high today will be 86. That's about 15 degrees higher than normal. Humidity is 12% and there is a 3-4 MPH breeze. There are a few wispy high white clouds. Us old guys here in the desert really like hot rods and motorcycles. On any given day I could choose between 8-10 vehicle shows withing a 30 mile radius. There are two that I go to most every week. We all bring lawn chairs, snacks, and socialize until we get tired and need to go home for a nap! My folding chair has an (optional) top to shade the sun. It got used yesterday due to the heat. I have a feeling my chair will not go topless for the duration of the season. Stay safe..... Jim

Well here in Vermont the current temp is 40 degrees, cloudy. This new week will be off to a warm and mild as we climb back into the mid and upper 30's and 40's this afternoon with mainly cloudy skies overhead. An isolated sprinkle or flurry can't be ruled out, but it will mainly dry.

Now on Tuesday which will be the warmest day this week, with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30's and 40's. A cold front will touch off a few showers and mountain snow showers, but that will be about it. A few snow flurries could also linger into early Wednesday before wrapping up.Any snow accumulation would generally be above 1,000 ft of elevation and would only amount to an additional few inches at the higher summits.

We will be having a clipper system that is expected to bring light rain/snow mix on Thursday. Some of the weather models are hinting a brief period of freezing rain during the morning before the changeover to plain rain. Any freezing rain looks to be light an brief, but they are keeping an on eye on that.

March will come in more like a lamb than a lion over the weekend. A week clipper system may bring in snow showers Saturday and into Sunday( off Topic, I will be riding my snowmobile this weekend, the trails are awesome, and we sure do have a lot of snow. I went riding this past weekend on my snowmobile, I did a total of 100 miles between Friday, and Saturday). other wise colder temps make a comeback with highs in the 20's and lows in the single digits and teens.

Hurry up Spring!

Deanna

67 Degrees here today. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
That's almost as high as our forecast Low for today, while our forecast High will be up around 35°C/95°F...

Here in the Adelaide Hills of South Oz, we're expecting a week of temps reaching the mid/high 30's °C, and a little cooler weather for the weekend, when we'll possibly see a little rain (30% chance of <1mm!) and temps only reaching the high 20's °C/mid 80's °F. But then, it is the end of Summer here, so it's nice that it's looking like it'll be starting to cool off for Autumn. ;)

That's not happening Inland tho; they're expecting at least a week of mid to high 40's °C, possibly pushing the 'All-Time High' records for Autumn up into the very high (or higher??) 40's in a few places over the coming weekend!! 😖

And the Far North is just sweltering, with high temps, higher humidity, two cyclones just off the NE coast, and a couple more threatening to develop just off the NW coast...

Tuesday morning and we have clear sky and 38°F. Yesterday temperature was not bad, but today's is going to be better. Most of the snow is now water in the yard. Got to love it.

High today at 56°F with mostly sunny.
Low of 38°F. No rain till later tonight.

Come on Spring!!!
Ryde if you are able and be Safe.
