Yellowstone Park help, please.....

If someone has hiked in Yellowstone, what trail would you recommend? I'm up for seeing anything, but bears, unless they are a good long distance away. We won't be camping; so, any hike will be a day hike. I have no physical limitations; so elevation and distance is okay with me. We will be staying on the outside of the park on the West side, more toward the middle.

I have been into Yellowstone about a dozen times and have done many day hikes but I will be darned if I can remember any names lol. Just get a map and ask the Rangers, they will be glad to help. Beautiful place to visit. Watch out for the old alone buffalo, they can get very ornary (sp). Have fun and be safe.

That's something to consider. I came upon a Buffalo cow and her calf. She looked at me with those big brown eyes, causing me to wounder if she was going to kill me or make love to me. Either way, it was going to hurt. Got out of there just in time. ray:ray:ray: Sorry, I wasn't in Yellowstone, so can't comment on the trails, I just love telling that story.

Can I get that pass at the entrance to the National Park? We plan on visiting both Teton and Yellowstone, and $10 would be quite the deal. Thanks for the info. I was thinking retired military got a discount at the National Parks, but they don't.
