''Why is it always the right side (muffler side) gasket that goes? I usually change 3 on the right side for every one I replace on the right.
One thing i notice is that fuel consumption increases from normal for my bike, this is also a good indicator that for me, the y pipe needs some attention. It does not seem to matter whether or not it is the bike with the hindle or the bike with the stock muffler.
On a positive note, however, I got 27,000 miles out of the stock rear tire, and am going to replace with another kenda.
