• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Y Gaskets - I switched!

As suggested in other threads, I decided to inspect/replace the exhaust Y gaskets with the Honda equivalent on my '09 SE5 GS. I was shocked by my findings. :yikes: At 15K miles, the right side gasket was completely gone. The left side was still intact, but was starting to deteriate. Like others, I was impressed with the quality and price of the Honda gaskets. I can now mark this off of "things to do"! :2thumbs:

All I can tell you is, "Git R Done!"

Definitely something to keep an eye on. At my 12k service, 2 of mine were completely gone and one was halfway. There is no telling how long this condition existed. Obviously, the recommendation to change these at the 12k mile mark is too late. My dealer replaced them under my service agreement, but I am sure they are the same "not too reliable" gaskets. I absolutely will install the Honda gaskets next time around.
