• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WIRING RS to HARBOR FREIGHT TRAILER

I didn't think to ask, what do you have a RT or RS. I have a RS so I'm not sure about the wiring of a RT, if that is what you have.

I sent a PM Sorry I did not get back to you yesterday I was off my computer all day OMG how did I survive. anyway I just connected the Hopkin ground to the OEM ground and have had no problems. I works very well and is a neat connection no lose wires.
:thumbup::thumbup:
No I didn't have any power converter I wired direct to the harnesses

I'm not sure if that will work like that. The Hopkins converter actually takes the 5 wires from the spider and converts it to the 4 wire that is compatible with most trailers.

The instructions that came with converter was very simple too. And getting the powered converter actually make the trailer lights brighter as well

Ok guys new problem. I bought a set of led lights for my trailer. The left side works perfectly but the right side is way dimmer. When you hit the brakes it lights up as bright as the other side. I've got a new converter coming but don't know if that will fix it. Any ideas?
