• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried to mount a wireless bluetooth speaker for playing music from smart phone or IPOD while riding? I have my 2x USB port mounted on handlebars and again I'm cheap and don't want to go to a full radio on my RS but was thinking of just getting a waterproof wireless bluetooth speaker to link to my iphone or IPOD to play music while riding. let me know if anyone has a solution they can recommend.

Thank you,

Scott

NO... not a blue tooth speaker, but just about everyone out there who is using a blue tooth head set
I bet most of them stream music from an iPod, iPhone, iPad or other smart phone.
There are several brands of blue tooth sets out there, the best of the bunch is SENA
not just saying that because I am a SENA Dealer I'm saying it because it's true, ask around...

They take 400W of power to run. A Spyder with a V-Twin only puts out 500W @ 6000 rpms. It will not work. That's IMHO.

Mike
Its 400w PEAK and likely WAY over rated at that. Probably closer to 100w continuous and depending on the Walmart chinese quality probably much closer to 50w continuous.
Real 400w continuous is some pretty good sized stuff. To big for a spyder.
