• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will my 2014 RT - S (manual shift) have Footboards?

I am waiting for the arrival of my 2014 RT S; I am getting conflicting answers from the dealer regarding the driver footboards. Can anyone confirm rather theirs have boards or pegs?

foot pegs

I have a 2013 RTS SM 5. Thought about getting the Inspector Gadget floorboards and his heel/ toe shifter. They are easy to install and not very expensive(a little over $200.00 including shipping). I have not bought them yet. While riding yesterday I tried to figure out where else I would put my feet if I had floorboards. Does not seem like floorboards would give you any more room. Still undecided.

Here's a Insp Gadget footboard on my 2012 RT. I like them very much. I didn't like a peg pressing into the instep of my feet. Price is right too compared to the competition.

I know what you mean. I have been riding the Test Spyder RT LTD and I didn't feel that the floorboards gave me any real options on where to put my feet. Seal Floorboards (if they make them for the 14) do give you more options for forward placement of your feet.

Seal Floorboards makes Floorboard for all Spyder Manuel shift models. You can have either standard foot shift or heel and toe shift. Just another way to………..

Ride in comfort,
John
