There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
When I bought my Spyder it came with an uninstalled two brothers dual exhaust. Will I need to get a fuel programmer to use it if I install it? If so any recommendations on a programmer?
The rule of thumb is typically one breathing mod, no fuel control needed. The stock ECU should handle it within it's tolerance. But you'll likely be popping when the throttle slams shut but every bike is a little different.
It is not required, but if you do get a programmer, go with 2 brothers. They already have a preprogrammed mapping in the Juice Box Pro for a setup with a stock intake and the dual tb exhaust. SNY is right though, the juice box will cease the backfires. I had a lot of backfiring when I had just my single slip on, I have since installed the Kewlmetal airbox and a juice box pro, and Viola, no more back fires, but it really doesn't like to have the clutch being engaged when rolling cold. (Getting into 1st)
Sure spyder will run without a fuel mod but it will be starving for fuel.
When I turn mine off and run with just o2 mod, spyder begs for for more fuel outside of closed loop.
I guess it would not matter if you are going accelerate slowly every time but...
I think a fuel mod will do a lot of good. 265 bucks for jb pro on eBay.
