• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

White Gold( Snow) WOHOOOOO!!!!!!

Myself and Deanna went out on the trails today in the Groton area of Vermont. What a fun day it was! The trails were groomed and not bad for the opening weekend for the VAST trail system. We headed on a loop ride that took us to the Upper Valley Grill for lunch. After lunch we headed back to the parking lot that we started from where my truck and trailer was. We loaded the sleds and headed home about 30 miles away.

Love the Yamahas. but isn't there a joke going around that it took Yamaha and Arctic Cat to get together to come up with a sled to compete with BRP and Polaris?:joke:

As someone once said, "The best thing about winter in Vermont is watching it from Texas!" Same can be said for Maine and that's why we button up our summer home on Moosehead Lake and head for San Antonio round about Halloween. :D

Then again we're thin blooded seniors so - Merry Christmas and have a ball in the White Gold!
Same can be said for New Hampshire. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Deanna

Good for you Deanna.

It's a blast isn't it? I played around in the yard yesterday. I've ridden motorcycles, four wheelers and watercraft. For me personally, nothing is more exhilarating than snowmobiling.

Here is my stable of sleds. I've posted this video before, but here it is again. I seriously need to make some new ones.

Thanks, It is a lot of fun on the snowmobiles, playing in the White Gold!

I ride/own a spyder, and now ride a snow mobile.

Happy Holidays!

Be safe out on the trails!

Nice trailer! Looks like you have one F3 (the old style 600) and 2 RS/ST's the REV machines. Nice. Running and 05 REV 600 SDI myself. Heading out on the groomer to groom for the first time this season right now. Chainsaw in hand, might be lots of trees down?

Ya Sure and You Betcha in riding the UP. Yust don't have to many of dem Tom & Yerries when you ride. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I miss our Skidoo sometimes, but it got to where it didn't justify owning one anymore due to lack of snow. When it does snow enough to open trails, I hop in the groomer and get my snow fix that way

Thanks to the two of you for making our riding experience much more enjoyable . Even though I don't ride in either one of your states, I would just like to thank you guys for your hard work, long hours and dedication to our sport. Most riders do appreciate your time and effort even though a lot of times you just hear the complaints.

It great to see you two enjoying yourselves.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Snowmobiling is a blast and I do miss it, but every time I think of buying one the winter turns to crap around here.

Snow Kit for Spyder

Did someone post a conversion kit for a spyder?:clap::clap: Little Blue, Merry Christmas to ALL

No no. Didn't intend to give the impression that I drive a groomer also. I just like to take pictures and I always get a pic of the groomers when I see one, just to remind me of the people that put in the long hours so I can ride on smooth trails. Keep up the good work.

Yes, we are having fun!

Years ago I( as a passenger) use to a ride snowmobile. It did not take me long to get use to riding/driving the snowmobile. I hope that does not happen to me, since it is my first year of snowmobiling.

I don't recall a conversion kit for :spyder2:. I am thinking cost would be prohibitive $7K +. :dontknow::dontknow: You can buy a pretty nice snow machine for $10K.
