• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When you put your Spyder up on 3 ramps, do you lose the back one?

Quick word of warning:
When jacking up the Spyder from the left side, be careful not to bend the metal plate under the gear change mechanism. You'll end up with neutral and reverse, but no other gears! Ask me how I know

drive it up backwards on all 3 ramps....carefully:2thumbs:

Only then the ramp for the rear wheel will be projecting into the desired work-space UNDER the Spyder, and there'll be a bunch of things that it will either get in the way of you doing, or it'll totally stop you from doing them!! :cus:

Been there, done that... :banghead: I'm a bit slow some days! :gaah:

I hope this is not off topic, but how do you lift the front end to upgrade the shocks ? Which method is better for sway the bar upgrade? Do you need to lift the rear in those cases?

craftsman bike lift, carefully positioned to avoid shift linkage, will lift the whole unit straight up, then sit it on jack stands lotsa room underneath to work. good luck.
