Thanks Teddy (and Dave). Didn't remove the side panels when trying to remove the left peg but
I did have the bike up on jack stands so I was able to use an 18 inch breaker bar and a standard
ratchet wrench to no avail. Bought a 17 inch 3/8 drive breaker bar this morning. So now with
using a breaker bar with sockets on both the bolt head and nut I'm hoping I'll be able to get 'er
done! Might have to try some heat or solvent to help loosen the Scotch Grip thread locker.
You must not have had the same problem that I'm experiencing or I'm sure you would have
remembered. I just about busted a gut yesterday trying to loosen that nut. Thanks again...

Hmmmmm...... Maybe I just got lucky (or maybe I should be concerened:shockedbut I removed the Left (easy) side driver and passenger pegs, and they did have that thread locker on there, but I don't recall it being much of a struggle at all. Not sure if you've removed your side panels or not, but having adequit working space may also help:dontknow:
