• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the secret...

Thanks Teddy (and Dave). Didn't remove the side panels when trying to remove the left peg but
I did have the bike up on jack stands so I was able to use an 18 inch breaker bar and a standard
ratchet wrench to no avail. Bought a 17 inch 3/8 drive breaker bar this morning. So now with
using a breaker bar with sockets on both the bolt head and nut I'm hoping I'll be able to get 'er
done! Might have to try some heat or solvent to help loosen the Scotch Grip thread locker.

You must not have had the same problem that I'm experiencing or I'm sure you would have
remembered. I just about busted a gut yesterday trying to loosen that nut. Thanks again...

Hmmmmm...... Maybe I just got lucky (or maybe I should be concerened:shocked:) but I removed the Left (easy) side driver and passenger pegs, and they did have that thread locker on there, but I don't recall it being much of a struggle at all. Not sure if you've removed your side panels or not, but having adequit working space may also help:dontknow:

NO SECRET ANYMORE

I found out real quick that BRP uses some kind of thread locker on every bolt an nut!:yikes: like said before you will need lots of strength & band aides :banghead: I think I would use 1/2" drive socket ! 3/8 mite break. And when putting back together I would use blue Loctite it's good but not as hard to remove if need be. My 2 cents Pete

Good Luck! Please let us know what it takes to knock them loose!

I sure am glad that I am happy with my inspector Gadget floorboards. Is it really worth it John.

I'm happy with my Inspector Gadget floorboards as well Charlie. However I'm thinking I'll be happier with the RIVCO boards since they are about 2 inches lower which I hope helps with the right knee discomfort I experience.

Sent you a PM.
