There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What's in your saddle bags and frunk?

Just wondering. My frunk holds my rain gear and tire repair stuff.
My shad bags are usually empty except I'll keep the Butt buffer pad in case my rear end gets tired. I also keep a ballcap, bottle of water, and a cigar or 2.

Frunk, spare fuses. Left saddlebag, raingear. Right saddlebag, nothing. Rear trunk (RT) hat, wife's hairbrush, sunscreen, phone while riding.

Frunk - tool roll with enough tools to do most minor repairs, and a tire repair kit with about half a dozen CO2 cartridges. Spare dry shirt which I never change anyway, unless it is freezing cold day. Spare shorty helmet.

No side bags, but got cable locks, sunglasses, gate opener, shield cleaning rag, USB charger, and some other little stuff in a small tank bag.

Rain suit, water, and some bandanas in a nylon zip bag strapped on the pax seat.

Frunk, Tool Roll, Air compressor/tire plug kit, small umbrella, chaps,
Left saddlebag: Clean shirt rolled up in plastic bag, small liner bag for beer, if I find something I want to try that I can't get at home.
Right saddlebag: Sweatshirt, rain liner for my textile jacket
Trunk: 9mm, small plastic box (was used to ship pacemaker) holds 2 credit cards and phone charger and charging cable, fingerless gloves and insulated gloves. also small one pound plastic coffee can for loose change and Bluetooth earbuds, (in case I need to stop and make a call)

All good reasons to have bags.
I don't utilize mine as well. I think I carry enough for the short trips, but it is nice to have the space. The Shad bags come off pretty easy if you want that look also.

In the frunk: air compressor, small tools, rain suit, octane boost, bottle of water, owner's manual, and registration. In the mono seat cowl: small first aid kit, booster start pack, gloves, fire lighter, and a set of Torx wrenches.

My Shad bags stay at home unless I plan an over-nighter or a longer trip.

I'm looking into an air compressor. Good idea.
I take mine off sometimes on short rides. When they're on, it's a bit difficult to maneuver around the garage. I think the Shad bags look good on the F3S, and it also looks good without them. Easy fix if you don't want them on; they're so easy to remove. I think we all pretty much carry the same stuff. Don't want to be stranded without support gear.

Well for now, I'm just back and forth to work. So not much loaded. Left bag is rain gear, Right side is a 1/2 cover for work, and I think a couple of bungie cords. Frunk = 0; trunk = heat out head sock (moisture wicking), assorted gloves, phone charge cord.
When I go on our trip this fall to NC, it's going to take some maneuvering as we don't have quite the space we did on the Victory.

It's all good, and there could be no "right" answer, right?! My RT hauls around a LOT of stuff....some of which has helped save the day for other riders...which is a bonus. A packet of duct tape saved me when my Aerostitch pants' (whole length) zipper gave out in 32 Degree F at Aunt Bees diner in Mount Airy NC.

Battery booster, tire plug kit, rain gear for the both of us, rags, battery run light for night use. Usually some type of food and drink, just in case. First aid kit. Tom :spyder:

Nope! No right or wrong. I find it interesting what people carry.

I've known it for awhile that I should be carrying mote tools than just what's in the BRP on board tool kit. As a retired Mechanic I have triple of just about everything, yet I go minimalistic on them. Go figure.
I keep meaning to put together a better tool bag. Maybe this thread will kick start that.

Day trips, frunk and right saddle empty and available for helmets at lunch stops etc. Left saddle bag, rain gear, micro fiber and Mirror Glaze to clean windshield, small roll of paper towers. Trunk extended tool bag, lug wrench(3/8 breaker bar and socket) bottle of water, spare heavier duty gloves, extra riding layer, USCG vets hat for when helmet come off.

Six day bucket list ride: Can Am roller suitcase in frunk cloths and HCSL Saddlebag Liner, right side saddlebag for extra riding clothing. Small cooler strapped to rear seat.

I'm still deciding what to move from my motorcycle to my Spyder, so right now I only have rain gear in the left saddlebag. I want to keep the right bag empty for my helmet when I stop and have to leave the Spyder for any length of time. I have an air compressor and tire patch kit to add to the left bag soon, and I want to add a few more tools as well. I have a small cooler that goes into the bottom of the frunk quite nicely for trips. It's all a work in progress.

Frunk: Essential tools, tire plugger, battery operated air pump, couple towels/microfiber cloths. On long trips, also some spray cleaners just because I like it to look good. :firstplace:
Side bags: 1) Rain gear, bike cover, seat cover. 2) Misc spare gloves, insurance/registration stuff.
Trunk (RT): ball cap and on long trips, helmet bag, water/snack stuff and any other quick access stuff.

I thought I read somewhere that somebody had an ice cooler that fit in the frunk of a F3S. Can't seem to find thar again. I reckon I'll just have to measure and see if I can locate one.

Frunk: battery boost kit, Spyder cover, tools, extra bottle of water, microfibre towels, pocket knife. Mono cowl: bike registration/insurance. Left Shad bag: sunscreen, wind/rain pants, bottle of water, cooling neck 'scarf', tie straps (have rear shelf). Right Shad bag: empty, but can fit my helmet in there, or have a bag that fits overnight gear.
