If it doesn't snow tomorrow I will head out to end the year with an even 34,000. I put over 5,000 on the test Spyder in January and February but I have been slacking since October and haven't gone on any substantial trips.
It is so funny to me that guys on the M/C scene turn there noses up to Spyders but the majority of people with Spyders ride thousands of miles more than the guys who are supposedly the big Dawgs in certain M/C circles. I kid you not, I know a guy(keep in mind I live in North Texas so we can literally ride year around minus a bad week here and there) who has had his bike for 5 years and does not have 25,000 miles on it, lol. I know some of you are retired and have more free time but still your desire to be on the rode seems to be stronger than some of those who say they are committed to riding with a club. On the M/C scene in Dallas I brag about my mileage in 2 years, but I come on Spyderlovers and see people doubling my mileage in less than a year, lol. Thank you all for keeping me humble.
I couldn't end the year on an odd number so I piled on the long johns and went out. Even though the thermometer shows 42 it was only 35 and the wind was honking at 20+. View attachment 100459
4074 miles for 2014 riding season. I only logged 3040 miles in the previous 2 riding seasons. It just keeps getting better!
By the way, is anyone keeping a tally on these reported miles?

I live in Henderson and work in Searchlight NV. We had snow almost the whole way, and wind chill was 4 degrees. I used the cage I am sorry(?) to say. You are braver than I am.
I just saw Searchlight on the news, crazy stuff. They had 1/2" of snow in Lake Havasu too. Hell is freezing over.
