• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone,

One could go pretty overboard when it comes to upgrades and/or add ons to a Spyder/Ryker. So i am going to ask the question and ask that you answer accordingly please.

Question:

What are the items that you added to your Spyder/Ryker that are worth it's weight in gold??

Answer Format:

Year and Model Spyder/Ryker
Add on / Upgraded item
Supplier/Vendor or link to item

Thanks in advance, and stay safe out there.

2014 RT ( basic w/ SE trans ) ….. Upgrades / changes I have done 75+ things so far, way to many to list , I don't type fast …. But the one that I like the most is/was swapping the OEM speakers for two pair of 5.25 JBL's ….. I really like my tunes …… Mike :ohyea:

So far just the swaybar and laser aligned at last years D3RW. Hope add a few more things at this years, and maybe a seat at the Sturgis rally.

2015 F-3 Sport SE-6

the best upgrade I did to mine was:
1. A Stage II ECU Flash. www.wick-itperformance.com
2. An RLS 3 Stage Cat Bypass with an RLS Assassin End Pipe. www.rlsexhaust.com
3. A K & N air filter.

Hey!!!! .... An additional 25+ horsepower and 20+ additional foot pounds of torque..is a lot!!!
The other upgrades I`ve done dont matter. This right here is the Heart and Soul...PERFORMANCE!!!

Along the same lines here for my 2013 RT Ltd;

I did the upgraded sway bar & auto tires thing too, with the addition of a free flowing (but not much louder) exhaust & cat elim along with a few extra & minor 'personlisation mods' done to & around the suspension & its components, and really would've called those collectively the best things you can do to your Spyder/for your ryding enjoyment...

UNTIL

I had the ECU Upgrade done by Jase @ ECU Xtreme here in Aust ([email protected]) - and THAT ECU Upgrade really makes everything else somewhat fade into the background, because it's made my Spyder the machine I feel it should've been from the beginning! I could go on about how much better & more responsive it feels even in 'tootling around' mode; how much more fun it is to ryde ALL the time, not just when fang-ing it; the way it's unleashed the already proven reliable performance that other machines running these same engines have already; but really, it's probably gonna have the same overall impact on you if I just say it's FREAKING BLOODY FANTABULOUS! :dg1: :dg2: :2excited:

Janis put 60 miles on Blackbird yesterday, and got us (yes, me on pillion) up to 60+ and 4th gear, crossed a trestle bridge over the Delaware River and into PA. I may have let a monster loose...one that will rampage its way thru my wallet.

For me it's comfort because if I am not comfortable than I do not ride, so it would not matter if it handled better- was faster - or stopped better.

For the RT

#1 Russell day long seat. - from Russell day long
# 2 Triaxis handle bars. - from Can Am (I installed)

For the F3

#1 Russell day long seat. - from Russell day long
#2 Short reach handle bars - from Can Am (I installed)
#3 position 4 brake rod - from Can Am (I installed)
