Curious what RPM most of you hover around with your Rotax 1330 Spyder? Also, do you have a high end rev where you tend to go before shifting?
I usually shift between 3200-3500 and I dont go above 4k unless I am out on the highway. One thing I have found out with the twisties on some of these back roads around catoctin mountain is the Spyder is a bit harder to control going downhill on a 10% grade riding the brakes/downshifting. But going uphill you can stay in 4th gear on a 10% grade and have some real fun with the twisties!

You are not being kind to your engine, especially during break in. The rings need revs to seat.I haven't gone past 3300 RPM's on my Sea to Sky.. Casual shifting is around 2200 rpms
