• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Product do you want to see in the aftermarket for Spyder

I have a great connection with several vendors who develop products for auto and bikes. Since there seems to be a lack of aftermarket products available for the Spyder, I like to hear everyone suggestions and see what the community need and want???

here's couple of things that they are working for me right now....

1) Easy plug and play audio system.
2) Carbon Fiber panels

The most important...Lets say goodbye to 1000 rpms. A smaller diameter rear pulley and matching belt for touring and/or fuel economy!!!

How about some nice rider and passenger floorboards that would attach where the current pegs do, but lower the board position and move them forward.:doorag:

The peg thing seems to be a big issue. Lower and forward work well for folks, a kit that moves the pegs and controls down and forward a bit would be great. I bought a set of the peg mounts from Bryan that come off of the motor mounts, it is a great riding position but you do not have any access to controls.

A gps mount that is front and center but doesn’t hide any of the gauges that fits the tomtom rider 2 gps and also is not connected to the handle bars……would like to keep an uncluttered look. btw no offence to people who like handle bar mounted devices...just my preferance.:2thumbs:

Hydraulic front brake kit.

Heat directors for controlling heat flow for various weather conditions.

I know I will think of others.

I like my audio system now - speakers w/ mp3 player but I'd like a system that has that capability along with a radio w/ weatherband and good tunes and maybe a cd player too and much bigger speakers. I don't like earphones in my helmet - I like my speakers and the outside noise around me at once. And have it reasonably priced.

HDXBones wants the capability to reprogram the fuel and ignition maps in the ECM.

I want an exhaust that doesn't look like a tootsie roll - want a black duals.

1) Different size pulleys so we can change the gearing
2) Aftermarket brake pads
3) Adjustable Computer module so the timing/fuel can be optimally adjusted

How about a right hand brake lever kit, an adjustable (up and down) seat, adjustable foot controls, the remote reservior shocks I've seen on a Swiss Spyder, jointed adjustable handlebars that will accept that factory cover (MM could handle that with a mod to his risers), a replacement display with gps built in, bigger mirrors, hey, I think I'll sit down with a friend of mine that's a metal model maker, he's already making a riser/setback block for my handlebars, but his Spyder will probably get it first.:sour:
