Spyder Riding Apperal
A plug & play "REAL" Cruise Control
:agree: ... and, longer rider pegs. This would enable the passenger to extend their legs and keep their feet on the outside of the rider pegs.
I'm going to adapt ATV pegs to my Spyder just as I did on the two trikes I built (see avatar photo). I really miss those pegs when I'm riding my Spyder, I've gotten very accustomed to riding all kinds of terrain with them, on my trikes. The pegs I adapted were from the Yamaha YFZ450 ATV. I had to machine an adapter that would allow the ATV pegs to swing up and back 45 deg, in the normal motorcycle fashion.
They sure could bite your shin when you push the Spyder out of the garage, though.Just curious.... why do you think they need to swing? You're definitely not going to drag them like on a two-wheeler. I don't see why they need to fold up and to the rear... like "normal".

It was a stretch, but I had to come up with a valid reason. I suspect the only true reason (for a stock Spyder) is that some motorcycle rule requires them, just like other standardized controls. Mostly for the heck of it on this platform, IMO. Probably only cost us an extra $100 per Spyder.Ahhhhhh.... now I see. I never push it.
