• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My goodness this is an old thread reborn!

I'd like to have a seat for my dog...he's about 50 lbs...he already has his doggles ready, as you can see to the left...

Hand brake is on the market... about 2-3 weeks ago.

Just curious.... why do you think they need to swing? You're definitely not going to drag them like on a two-wheeler. I don't see why they need to fold up and to the rear... like "normal".

Sorry, I haven't checked this thread in quite awhile.

I made them swing "in the normal fashion" so they wouldn't bite my shins when I push the trike. Those two Yamaha conversion trikes I built don't have reverse, so I always need to push when backing up. I have been bitten a number of times when I didn't swing those big pegs back. I don't use a spring on them so they will tend to stay back when I put them back, but can easily be moved forward/down with my feet when I get on the trike.

Even though the Spyder has a reverse gear, I often push it, if I just need to move it a little way. Maybe I do that more than others do, because I'm so used to doing it with my TWTrikes. Of course the Spyder weighs a lot more!

A third seat

A seat for three so that I can pick up all these hitch hikers that seem to think I can give them a ride when I already have a passenger!
