• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Product do you want to see in the aftermarket for Spyder

They had my bike most of this week working on a few things.. so far they are building a dual pipe set up for all exhaust. easy plug and play audio system, new body panel, and some gps display. this might take a little time, but i am excited to see what he comes up with.

Bike to bike intercom with ...

A bike to bike short distance intercom with am/fm/cd player.

Passenger foot peg lowering kit.

I'd like to see a stylish fairing where we could install our "extras" (GPS, stereo, CB/comms unit, etc) instead ofd mounting them all over the place. The aftermarket fairings I've seen so far are just FUGLY

I would like someone to come up with a way to override the nanny, when u want to have a little fun. A switch to turn it on and off without upsetting the computers, would be great.:ohyea:

I have a great connection with several vendors who develop products for auto and bikes. Since there seems to be a lack of aftermarket products available for the Spyder, I like to hear everyone suggestions and see what the community need and want???

here's couple of things that they are working for me right now....

1) Easy plug and play audio system.
2) Carbon Fiber panels

Does this audio system come with a speaker set up? I'd like that if they couldn't make the speakers obvious looking - like where they stick out all funny.

what we want

1, bigger mirrors & longer arms
2, Cruse controll
3, better seat with more padding
4, bigger gas tank
5, floor boards
6, lower prices so we can aford them
7, fogg lights
8, louder exzost
9, radio with XM with speakers
10, neion light kit
11, toggle switch,s bilt in
12, fuzz's one for lights one aregnel in spyder
13, higher windshild on spyder
14, lights on wheels

+1!!!

Would buy it in a heartbeat.

We have the McCruise from Australia. Not cheap, but is a bout as plug and play as you can get. We are very pleased with the unit and its operation!

I want to know what happened to thenewguy? :dontknow: He posted this stuff about a year ago, told us to "stay tuned" and then hasn't been back since.

I need this right away

As mentioned before ---some floor boards that cost less than $400.00.
A connection to the gas tank without raising the seat so that the tank can be filled to the max------better yet a tank that holds 7 plus gallons.

and that is just the way it is . . . .

Welcome to the Internet, home to people who have nothing better to do than tease and act like big-shots.

Of course, he could have died a horrible and painful death in testing out the integrated Spyder Sound System & Cruise Control Contraption ( SSS & CCC ) when they mis-wired the accelerator into the satellite station scan button. Or maybe it was the ill advised integration of a Voice Controlled Braking System and the State-wide Bike-To-Bike Intercom Prototype.

However flakey thenewguy was, it is still a good question and some of the suggestions were pretty interesting.

Sometimes, while looking at the innards of the Spyder, I dream of using the Spyder frame and the current tank as the gas tank. Just using a good portion of the central frame could probably give us 3 or 4 more gallons capacity. They do it on other bikes. It would be quite an undertaking to make that an aftermarket mod.

I have what you need!

How about some nice rider and passenger floorboards that would attach where the current pegs do, but lower the board position and move them forward.:doorag:

Take a look at my web page at www.industrialspecialty.com . You will see that we offer a full line of both rider and passenger boards as well as hand brakes and many other items. Feel free to give me a call at 1-800-838-9421 if you have any questions.
