• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What other BRP/Can Am products do you own?

I figured some of the northern tier folks would have some awesome tricked out snow mobiles to show.:dontknow: Or maybe some quads. O'well.

Owned several ski-doo's over the years.

The three I now have in the garage.

Today would have been a great day to ride but I was in the garage summerizing the sleds.

I have never owned four wheelers or watercraft. My summers are very busy and I don't have time for everything, so I chose motorcycles as my summer fun.

All of my Ski Doos are in the ancient past...
'67' Olympic
'68 Super Oly
'70 T'NT 340
'71 Oly 300
'70 Olt 335

I'd LOVE to find an early Olympic (1970 or older...), for a restoration project...

Ski doos, now that's what I'm talking about. And that is some playing in style with the matching trailer.
When I was a kid, in New Hampshire, my dad bought us an old Ski Doo. Now this was in the 70's so the Ski Doo must have been from the 60's. I had a blast on that machine. Not too much sledding here in Florida :p.

Here are some from my past.

A couple more that have shared space in my garage.

'98 Formula Z583
The fastest sled I have ever owned. I know that's not saying a lot, I've never been into the mega hp machines.

'96 Formula 500SL. One of the slowest I've owned in the modern day.

'70 Olympique. The slowest snowmobile by far that I have ever owned. That baby was putting out around 18 hp. This picture is from the interweb and is not the actual sled that I owned.

They may have been slow; but they were a BLAST to ride!! nojoke

Oh... They were 20 horse. The '69 Oly 320s were 18, and my '68 Super Oly was 16...

:spyder2: is the only BRP product that I have owned. Never owned a snowmobile--and I have lived in MN, WI, and AK. To cold, and these days, I would be in a heap of trouble if I broke down in the outback.

I do have a couple Can-Am jackets, one textile and one leather, as well as some Can-Am gloves. Thhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaatttttttts All Folks.:yes:

That '70 model is just like the one dad had. Except I don't remember the intakes.
 You don't remember the black box that sat in your lap as you rode?
It was hiding a Tillotsen HR carb, and had the choke lever sticking out the left side...

...Until it broke! :D Then; you just stuck a chrome velocity stack on the end of the carb, and worked the choke with your fingers!

that's the way I remember it. Only we could not afford the velocity stack. The first engine I learned about adjusting mixture. ..did it on the fly:thumbup: great memories. ..well it was the '70 s
