• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm on firefox

I don't see that at all while I navigate using the navigation links at the top, but I get this when I click on the "quick navigation" at the bottom:

Warning: array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array in ..../includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php on line 20

Warning: array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array in ..../includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php on line 52

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at ..../includes/class_core.php:5705) in ..../includes/functions.php on line 4376

EDIT: Correction! I do see the first 2 lines faintly at the very top of the browser. I just hadn't noticed at first.

This has happened once before, I think there was some upgrading done then, but the problem was taken care of.

DO WE

The warnings are php code derived and there is a problem in the php code that obviously doesn't affect looking at the forum and posts. I posted the error down in the proper forum area and it has been responded to. Generally php errors mean that the programmer left out a quote or dash or something (I obviously don't know php).

See thread:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?80728-PHP-errors

DO WE NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THIS CODE SNAFU OR NOT...?????? WILL IT HAVE AN ADVERSE AFFECT ON OUR PUTERS...>?????

The error likely won't hurt your computer but if you have a 2010-12 RT, will definitely melt your floorboards, passenger arm rests, farkle lights, etc. and the only way to avoid your RT from blowing up is to take off the accessories and sell them real cheap....

Shut down and walk away from the computer for 10 minutes. Then restart and see if you still get the code!

simple web page coding error

If you selected any custom options in your user profile you would probably be more likely to see it.

Takes a long time to test all the coding and for complex websites, sometimes things get missed.

No, its not a danger to your PC. Yes, it is a nuisance, website developer is probably aware of it and working on a solution.

35+ years of computer development, usage, and networking and I have yet to have ever seen a complex program with no errors.

Sounds like a hacker, hit all your computers. It could be your service provider, if their on all the same modem. It could be the website your on.

I was getting these warnings earlier today whenever I clicked the little green icon to go to unread posts in a thread. All's fine now.
