• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SLEDS

And I believe that I said that it's working for you... Very well indeed; too!! :2thumbs:
What kind of sleds do you have???

A Yamaha Warrior, and Phazer.....An Arctic Cat Turbo.....and a Polaris Two-up Touring ,.......Mike

 I kind of like the new Phazers...
The originals (84 to 91), were my personal nemesis...
I had an Indy Trail Deluxe (488cc, 133.5" track...)
They'd eat my lunch at every drag race... :gaah:
So I got busy...
Aaen pipe, 120 wedges, clutched to the razor's edge (Shift-out at 7200, and held 7100 all the way to the top end)
And a SERIOUS weight loss exercise...
Plastic skiis, Chromoly Trailing arms, single passenger lightweight seat, removed the electric starter and battery...
61 pounds off the sled!
NOW; I had them off the line, but they'd pull me on the top-end on the longer runs...
A gearing change later... I was eating Yammie -unches from them on!
The top-end went from a comfortable 80 mph, up to 89...
And then; I sold the dang thing and found another project...
(I miss that sled!)

Oh! And to stay on topic... 93 octane only!!!

YES .....BACK ON TOPIC

....As I stated in my earlier post ...Google " Octane ", and then use that knowledge as it relates to the Spyder___ I am sure you can safely use Race Gas 104 Octane, but will your Spyder run faster, smoother, pull harder, accelerate stronger......because you are using this super high Octane gas ........NO,NO,NO,& NO.......................Have fun........Mike

I used 93 in the sled...
air-cooled engine, being run past the rpm levels set by the manufacturer, and following Aaen's suggestion.
And everybody knows how quickly detonation used to destroy two-strokes! :yikes:

Holy cow, how much gas do you BUY!, to take the 30 cents saving and buy 2 cobra's, 2 Spyder's, 4 Snowmobiles and a 1934 Mercedes?. I bought a Pirus and on what I saved on gas all I got was a new dishwasher for the wife.... :roflblack:

Harry
I bought my GT and Chevron built a new refinery with the additional profits.....
