• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do you do for K&N Air Filter Cleaning? Use the Kit, or is there an easier/cheaper way?

Soap and water, then let it dry thoroughly and spray lightly with oil. You can speed up the drying by installing the filter and allowing the spyder to run for a minute or so, then oil it, and you're done.

EZ on the oil. Any of the light oils for a filter should work. To much oil on filter has been known to foul up MAP sensors on some of the cars I have worked on.

Monster Fuel Injection (Wick-It Performance) stage II ECU flash reccommends K&N filter for it's ability to allow freer flowing air. They also drill two 1" holes in your airbox cover to allow more air flow. Don't over think air filters. After all, your own air intake is within 3 feet of your Spyder's air intake and you're sucking in the same 'ol stuff that it is and you don't wear an air filter, do you? LOL
